Meet Milan A. Gomez, M.A.

Milan A. Gomez began her career in the medical arena as a Medical Assistant, obtaining her Medical Assistant Certification (with honors) in 2008. She later migrated over to administrative duties, continuing her education in medical billing and insurance claims processing.

Milan joined EcCare Health Centers in 2017 and currently holds the position of Workers’ Compensation Director. The combination of a proprietary receivables action plan and Milan's understanding of billing practices (including Department of Labor claims and assorted complicated exams) produces accurate coding and excellent third party communication. Milan takes the quality of patient care personally, so she works hard to obtain quick authorization for each patient's medical and/or Neuthesis rehab needs so they can begin recovery and get back to enjoying life as quickly as possible.

In her spare time, Milan enjoys reading, watching documentaries, fishing and playing baseball with her family.
